The Lost Blue Hole is perhaps the most unusual dive site in the Bahamas, visited regularly by Bahama Divers.
A natural hole in the ocean floor about 100ft. across and 200ft. deep. The perimeter begins in 40ft. and you dive to a maximum depth of 80ft. Dotted with isolated coral heads the perimeter is a beehive of marine activity. Here you will find large schools of reef fish, including Sergeant Majors, Chromis, Angelfish, and Yellow Tail Snappers; creating halos around each head. Groupers, Giant Southern Stingrays, Eels, Turtles, and numerous Sharks also frequent the area.
Barracuda Shoals: The finest shallow reef in the area, with depth that never exceed 30ft. Barracuda shoals typifies the look and life a healthy, shallow, Bahamian reef. Actually 3 reefs in a triangular formation with a vast variety of corals competing with sponges and other invertebrates for space. Grouper, angelfish, schools of grunts and snappers are abundant on this reef.
